First Priority | How to pray for and share the gospel at your school.
Location: Worship Center
What if your school could be transformed through prayer and the power of the gospel? This breakout session is designed to equip middle and high school students with practical tools to pray boldly for their schools and share their faith with confidence. We’ll explore how prayer can shift the spiritual atmosphere, simple steps to start gospel conversations, and ways to form or strengthen a student-led prayer movement.
Application Steps:
Students will walk away with a clear action plan for engaging their schools with prayer and evangelism.
Equip students to connect and gather with peers in their schools or communities, fostering strength, encouragement, and unity around a shared vision.

Biblical Manhood: Pursuit of Becoming a Godly Man
TJ Wallace | TJ is the Student Pastor at Temple City Church - is a husband to Mindy, dad to Zeek and Covee, and the student pastor at Temple City Church. He is passionate about preaching the Word of God and developing people to be spiritually and emotionally healthy. When He's not leading ministry, you can find him eating chipotle, playing pickleball, being a Duke Blue Devil super-fan, or making memories with his family.

God has a beautiful, good, and unique design for humanity to follow to flourish. However, when we look at our culture we learn cultural narratives and ideas that seek to define men with sins distortion robbing self-image, purity, addiction. This session will help middle and high school guys learn truths and practices on how to live out God’s design. Seek out accountability and next steps with resources for older man to speak into younger men.

Biblical Womanhood: Pursuit of Becoming a Godly Woman
Ashley McIlwain | Ashley McIlwain, M.A., LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, the Founder and CEO of Foundation Restoration, a nonprofit ministry celebrating 15 years of saving lives, marriages, and families with clinical expertise and a biblical perspective through professional therapy, workshops, seminars, and other resources. Ashley is also the host of the Real Talk Podcast. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University, has worked with Moody Publishers and Dr. Gary Chapman, and has a wide experience with speaking and writing. She and her husband, Steve, reside in Raleigh, NC with their sweet son Grayson.

Summary: This session will help middle and high school ladies understand that God has a good, beautiful, and intentional design for their lives. In a culture filled with conflicting messages that distort identity, image, worth, and purity, it’s easy to lose sight of what it means to be a woman of God. Together, we’ll unpack biblical truths and practical steps to live out God’s design, seek accountability, and steps to find mentors who can guide and strengthen us. Students will also gain tools to stand firm and keep fighting for integrity, purity, purpose, and faith in the years ahead.

Life is Busy | Balancing | "Finding Rest in the Rush"
Speaker: Daniel Rose - Student Ministries Strategist, Ministry Strategies Group - Daniel Rose serves as the student ministries strategist for the Ministry Strategies group. Daniel is a proud alumni of North Carolina State University and received his master’s degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. While in college, he served with N.C. Baptists and the BeDoTell team for five years.

Summary: In a world that never slows down, how can students find true rest without falling behind? This breakout session will help middle and high school students learn how to balance school, sports, social life, and responsibilities while prioritizing spiritual and mental well-being. Through practical strategies, biblical wisdom, and real-life discussions, students will discover how to set healthy boundaries, manage their time effectively, and embrace rest as a gift—not a weakness. They’ll walk away with tools to navigate the fast pace of life without feeling overwhelmed or burned out.

Help! I’m Anxious
Speaker: Brye Patton, LCSW - Brye Patton is a licensed clinical social worker who works with children, teens, and women. Since 2016, she has practiced in a number of settings: in US schools, an East African boarding school, a community-based agency providing in-home and outpatient clinic services, and most recently, in a group private practice.She owns Sojourner Counseling in Raleigh where she specializes in Christian counseling and EMDR. She enjoys helping clients struggling with anxiety, trauma, and cross cultural adjustment in NC and overseas.

Dr. Jason Tovey | How to Counsel Students | Crosspointe Biblical Counseling
Speaker: Dr. Jason Tovey | Jason is a pastoral/biblical clinical counselor at Crosspointe Biblical Counseling Center in Raleigh, NC. He holds a PhD in Clinical Christian Counseling with advanced certifications in sexual therapy; death and grief therapy; crisis and abuse therapy; and integrated marriage and family therapy.
